Tysons I & II (preliminary name Tysons Central 123) [1] is a planned Washington Metro station in Fairfax County, Virginia on the Silver Line. It is scheduled to begin operation in 2013. The station is planned as an aerial platform running along the north side of Chain Bridge Road (SR 123) just west of its intersection with Tysons Boulevard. There has been some controversy about whether to build the rail through Tysons Corner below ground or on elevated tracks. No parking is planned for the station.
This will be the main station used by visitors to the Tysons Corner Center and Tysons Galleria shopping malls.
